A Fairfax laptop that will not charge before a meeting or class is a serious problem. We test the charger, battery and charging port and repair the one that failed, often the same day.
We visit homes and offices in Fairfax City, Fair Oaks and Mantua and near George Mason. You get the diagnosis and price before we begin.
Why Fairfax trusts us
Charger Tested First
A bad charger is the cheapest fix, so we test it before anything else.
Genuine Fit Parts
Replacement batteries and chargers are matched to your laptop model.
Swollen Batteries Removed
A bulging battery is a safety risk, and we remove it right away.
What We Replace
Adapter testing
A failing charger or frayed cable is the cheapest fix. We test it before anything else.
Power surge repair
Power surges can damage chargers, power supplies and boards. We assess each one.
Battery backups
We set up surge protectors and battery backups so outages do not damage your equipment.
Batteries that drain fast
A replacement battery brings back a full day of use on most laptops.
Charging port repair
Loose or damaged charging ports are repaired so the laptop charges reliably again.
Power supply swaps
We swap failing desktop power supplies for quality units sized for your system.
Dead computer testing
A dead computer is often a simple power fault. We test each part to find it.
Sudden shutdowns
Shutdowns without warning are traced to the battery, power supply or overheating.
USB-C charging problems
Many newer laptops charge over USB-C, and not every USB-C charger or cable supplies enough power. We check that your charger is the right wattage, test the cable and clean or repair the port so the laptop charges at full speed.
