Getting Burke families their memories back

From Burke Centre townhomes to the neighborhoods around Lake Braddock, most of the recovery calls we get are about family photos and kids’ schoolwork. We come to your home, check the computer in place, and tell you plainly what’s recoverable before any real work begins.

If a family computer in the basement office has been acting up for weeks, call before it stops completely. A failing drive is much easier to recover from while it still spins.

“My teenager did not properly back up her laptop. So, when it totally crashed she lost access to her English final and all her junior year school files. In a panic we called Daryl on a Sat morning. He was able to retrieve all her files and make them available for use on either a PC or Mac. We have both and were not sure which computer would be used to finish up the school year. We had the all her files by 6pm that same Sat. You will not go wrong with Daryl. His prices are reasonable and we found him knowledgeable and honest. We will be using Daryl again for any future problems.”

Daryl has been my go-to-guy for years. I have always found him to be very responsive and great at diagnosing problems. Recently, I had a hard drive failure on a Friday when I urgently needed my computer over the weekend. Daryl was able to get me up and running until he could install a new drive on Monday. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL! We are fortunate to have him in our neighborhood.

07 / FAQ

Questions from Burke neighbors

My teenager’s laptop crashed with schoolwork on it. Can you help quickly?

Yes. Call us as soon as it happens and keep the laptop turned off. We’re available seven days a week, and we’ll work to get the files back before the deadline.

Can you recover files after I emptied the Recycle Bin or Trash?

Often, yes, especially if the computer hasn’t been used much since. Deleted files usually stay on the drive until something new is written over them, which is why stopping quickly matters.

What if my drive can’t be read at all?

Drives with physical damage sometimes need a specialized clean-room lab. If that’s the case, we’ll explain it honestly and help you decide whether it’s worth it.
