Arlington laptops that freeze, crash or restart on their own are frustrating and risky for your files. We read the crash logs, test the hardware and repair the cause so the computer stays stable.
We visit apartments and homes in Ballston, Clarendon, Shirlington and Crystal City. Many software causes can be fixed remotely, and we come in person when the problem is hardware.
Why Arlington calls us
One Change at a Time
We fix problems in order so we know exactly what solved it.
Gaming PCs Welcome
We test gaming systems under real load to reproduce the crash.

How We Stop the Crashes
Program conflicts
Programs that clash with each other or with Windows are updated, repaired or removed.
Stop code diagnosis
Blue screen errors leave clues. We read them and repair the driver, file or part involved.
Freezes and lockups
Freezes and lockups are tracked to software, heat or failing hardware and fixed.
Restart loops
We stop unexpected reboots by repairing the power, cooling or software issue behind them.
Driver clashes
We remove or replace drivers that clash with each other or with Windows updates.
Heat-related crashes
Overheating shuts computers down to protect them. We clean the cooling and replace worn fans.
Memory-related crashes
Crashes that seem random often come from memory errors. We test it and replace faulty sticks.
Failing storage
We check the drive for bad sectors and failing health, then copy your data to safety.
Crashes on thin laptops
Thin laptops have small fans that clog quickly in apartments with pets or carpet. When they overheat, they crash. We clean the cooling system, update the firmware and set a power plan that keeps the laptop cool during long workdays.
What customers say
Daryl has been my go-to-guy for years. I have always found him to be very responsive and great at diagnosing problems. Recently, I had a hard drive failure on a Friday when I urgently needed my computer over the weekend. Daryl was able to get me up and running until he could install a new drive on Monday. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL! We are fortunate to have him in our neighborhood.Read full review
